Source: OPEC+ agrees on oil output rise by Russia, Kazakhstan Apr

MOSCOW, Mar 4 (PRIME) -- The OPEC+ states agreed on an oil output increase for Russia by 115,000 barrels per day and for Kazakhstan by 18,000 barrels per day in April, and the other members will retain their output under the oil production cut deal unchanged, a source with one of the delegation at the OPEC+ ministerial meeting told PRIME on Thursday.

“(The members) discussed a rise in Russia’s output by 115,000 barrels per day and in Kazakhstan’s output by 18,000 barrels per day, and freezing of the remaining 350,000 barrels per day out of a 500,000 barrel increment. It has been agreed,” the person said.

Bloomberg reported citing its sources that the OPEC+ alliance decided not to increase production in April, and that Saudi Arabia plans to keep its extra output cut of 1 million barrels per day in the month.
